What Eagles win vs. Falcons means for 49ers in Week 2

NN: Philadelphia dominated the Atlanta Falcons last weekend. While overreactions are just that, what are some of the Eagles’ dominant traits from Week 1 that you think carry over for the rest of the season?

"II: We knew, heading into this one if we didn’t know anything else, that the Eagles were better than the Falcons in one area. We knew that our defensive line was better than their offensive line. This game could have gotten out of hand early, but Philly limited Atlanta to two field goals to close two impressive drives. That was huge. Then, they decided that, one, Atlanta wasn’t going to run the ball on them and, second, they were going to make life miserable for Matt Ryan. Give them the gold star for accomplishing both goals and you can best believe that this defensive line will continue to be solid all year. They have too many good players not to be. One of the unsung heroes was the punter, Aaryn Siposs. Three of his four boots landed inside the 20. That helped a lot. I also like what I saw from a playcalling standpoint. All we ask of coaches is that they put their players in positions to succeed. Players were utilized to their talents, and that was good to see. If that continues, this is a team that should sneak up on a few teams and surprise them."
