49ers with Madden 22 ratings over 90: LT Trent Williams

The 49ers haven’t been shy paying some of their top players in recent seasons, and another one of those who has received a record-setting contract in 2021 is perennial Pro Bowl left tackle Trent Williams.

Williams, who sat out 2019 when he was a member of the Washington Football Team, wasted no time getting back into his elite playing level after being acquired by the Niners during the middle of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Considering how Williams played last year, one has to view those two mid-round picks San Francisco dished out for him as an absolute steal.

Rated at 94, behind the Green Bay Packers’ David Bakhtiari (96) and the New Orleans Saints’ Terron Armstead (95), some may view Williams’ third-best left tackle rating as a bit of a slight, but Williams’ 95 strength rating is the best out of that top trio.

And fans who watched Williams display that strength on game day know that’s spot on all too well.
