No. 2: 49ers Cornerback Emmanuel Moseley

Cornerback Emmanuel Moseley is my next player of choice, and he’s an interesting option because he still has a ton of untapped potential to unlock.

Moseley had his best professional season during the 2019 run where he appeared in all 16 games that year. He only surrendered two touchdowns that season while locking up opposing receivers 53.4 percent of the time, according to Pro Football Focus.

In 2020, however, Moseley, like the rest of the 49ers roster, endured an injury-riddled season and saw a dip in production. He gave up four receiving touchdowns while allowing an increase in competition percentage of 58.9 percent.

Just like the Kentavius Street situation, Moseley finds himself in a constant battle to fight for a starting roster spot. Especially with two rookies, Ambry Thomas and Deommodore Lenoir, vying for playing time.

With all of the new additions San Francisco has added this offseason, training camp reps are now more important than ever.
