49ers fantasy football: TE George Kittle

ADP: 2.09

George Kittle is likely to dominate 49ers fantasy football for the foreseeable future, given the relatively thinner nature of tight ends in fantasy leagues and the fact he’s already one of the more prolific players at his position in the NFL anyway.

Understandably, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is the No. 1-ranked player at his position, in terms of ADP, at 1.09. This means it’ll be a steal if Kelce somehow slips into Round 2 of your fantasy draft.

Yet Kittle currently finds himself at No. 2 on the list with an ADP of 2.09, just a shade ahead of the Las Vegas Raiders‘ Darren Waller (2.10).

Already having set a single-season record for most receiving yards by a tight end (1,377 in 2018 — a record Kelce has since broke), Kittle is a threat to be a top-end fantasy football stud on a year-to-year basis.

But Kittle also comes with an injury history, too, missing eight games last year with multiple injuries and also being sidelined two games back in 2019.

For some 49ers fantasy football owners, an ADP of 2.09 might be too big a gamble for a player with some injury concerns, and there are still some potential steals later in the draft anyway.

So, if you’re thinking about passing on Kittle and going after some sleeper picks instead, you might want to target one of the next players on this list.
