No. 1: The final game of the season could wind being the most important game between the Rams and 49ers

Just because we didn’t highlight every NFC West game, doesn’t mean we weren’t going to talk about the most important LA Rams versus 49ers game in recent memory.

We all remember 2019 when the Niners defeated the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle to take home the NFC West and NFC crowns. If they didn’t win, the script might’ve been written a different way.

2021 could be written the same way.

Coming into the 2021 season, San Francisco has won four straight games against LA. Ideally, Week 18, it’ll be five, but we know the Rams will want to win against the Niners at some point.

Which makes the final game of 2021 the most important game of the year.

We could be witnessing if the LA-Detroit quarterback swap was worth it. We could also be watching the 49ers’ top draft pick, quarterback Trey Lance, trying to win make the postseason in his rookie season.

The 2021 49ers schedule is extremely winnable with everyone healthy and focused on the end goal. Taking care of these five games will help with their push for the postseason.
