There isn’t a whole lot to say here.

Kicker Robbie Gould is locked in for at least 2021, since cutting him would result in negative cap savings.

And while he has a fairly hefty dead money hit for cutting him next offseason ($5.5 million), it isn’t out of the realm of possibility that this is his last season as the 49ers kicker. It isn’t likely, though, but he’s certainly going to be the man in 2021.

Punter Mitch Wishnowsky has two more years on his rookie deal which will pay him a relatively modest $1.04 million in 2021 and $1.16 million in 2022, although the team could look to extend him soon if they feel comfortable with the work the 29-year-old has done during his tenure.

Finally, long snapper Taybor Pepper signed a two-year contract this offseason and has proven to be a steady hand at the position, so don’t expect the 49ers to make any moves at that slot either.

This means the kicking battery should be in place for likely the next two seasons, allowing for the chemistry the trio has built up to continue, hopefully existing to mostly kick a lot of extra points over that time span.
