NFL Draft Pick No. 20: Tyson Campbell, Cornerback, Georgia

With cornerback Kyle Fuller out as a victim of their salary cap situation, the Chicago Bears should look to upgrading the position before they continue to get victimized by receivers Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson and (if this mock is accurate for Detroit) Ja’Marr Chase.

Luckily for the Bears, cornerback is a pretty strong position for the 2021 NFL Draft, and Tyson Campbell has been rocketing up draft boards.

Campbell has good size for a cornerback (6-foot-2, 195 pounds) and has the strength and pace to run with receivers. His stat sheet doesn’t scream anything spectacular with only one interception and five passes defended, but that doesn’t indicate how well he played.

The defensive back needs to develop a nose for making plays on the ball, but overall he looks a solid prospect for the Bears secondary.
