NFL Draft Pick No. 18: Alex Leatherwood, Offensive Tackle, Alabama

The Dolphins have done a good job in providing Tua Tagovailoa with some offensive weapons around him to help him develop (along with Kyle Pitts in this mock), but the team still needs to invest in the offensive line as well.

Alex Leatherwood has been a solid tackle for Alabama, who can also go to guard if needed. He’s a good blend of speed, strength, athleticism and played well in 2020.

To go along with his skills at tackle, Leatherwood rotated to right guard for his sophomore season and played well there.

If he continues to impress teams leading up into the draft, he could very well find himself a late bolter to a team that falls in love with his skills and versatility.
