NFL Draft Pick No. 16: Jamin Davis, Linebacker, Kentucky

Yes, the Arizona Cardinals went linebacker in the top 10 in the 2020 NFL Draft, but the team still needs to fill a hole there given that Jordan Hicks has not played well since signing there.

Kentucky linebacker Jamin Davis has been bounding up draft boards off the back of a brilliant 2020. With the lack of many top linebacker talents in this NFL Draft, he’s certainly caught a lot of eyes.

Davis recorded 102 total tackles, 1.5 sacks and three interceptions in only 10 games in 2020. He was a tackling machine at Kentucky and should help stabilize the middle of Arizona’s defense.

Davis is fast, physical and strong with good size (6-foot-4, 234 pounds). He looks like he could catapult into the top 20 consideration.
