NFL Draft Pick No. 10: Caleb Farley, Cornerback, Virginia Tech

The Dallas Cowboys are in desperate need of some secondary help. Trevon Diggs showed promise as a rookie but Chidobe Awuzie signing with the Bengals was a big blow to the Cowboys. They need to invest multiple picks at the position.

Caleb Farley is a bit more of an enigma than Jaycee Horn or Patrick Surtain II, given he opted out for 2020, but Farley should be intriguing for a team picking in the first round with his physical skills.

Farley had 12 pass breakups and four interceptions (one returned for a touchdown) in 2019. He showed a knack for making players on tape although his college career has been hampered with a torn ACL and a back injury that required surgery.

Farley opted out of the 2020 season like Ja’Marr Chase. But unlike Chase, Farley wasn’t the best prospect at his position to begin the season.

His draft stock is up in the air, and this feels like his ceiling.
