No. 3: Running Back Charlie Garner

Running back Charlie Garner began his NFL career as the second round (42nd overall) pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in the 1994 NFL Draft. He would spend his first five seasons with the Eagles.

In 1999, Garner would sign with the 49ers and have a breakout year with his first 1,000-plus yard season. He would carry the ball 241 times for 1,229 yards rushing.

In his second season on the Niners, he would again eclipse the 1,000-yard mark, rushing for 1,142 yards and earning his first Pro Bowl selection.

In 2001, though, he would sign with the Raiders. And in 2002 he would help them advance to the Super Bowl, ultimately falling short. He would be with the Raiders for a total of three seasons, his final NFL season he would be as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Garner’s career in the NFL lasted 11 seasons, but his only 1,000-plus yard seasons and his only Pro Bowl season would come as a member of the 49ers.
