49ers tight end George Kittle is known to have a lot of fun, and his April Fools joke is certainly a fitting way for a good laugh.

Leave it to San Francisco 49ers All-Pro tight end George Kittle to pull a small fast one on the Niners Faithful.

Kittle is no stranger to pulling pranks, and the banter between him and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo over the years has been pretty entertaining, to say the least.

But in Kittle’s latest laugher, just in time for April Fools, he pulled a joke by suggesting he’s no longer with San Francisco.

Nope, according to the joke, Kittle is heading to the southeast to join the Jacksonville Jaguars:

Now, the only question is just what part of the joke is actually, well… the joke? Kittle being traded or making his choice of April Fools by joining the Jaguars, the team selecting first in this year’s NFL Draft?

Of course, Kittle isn’t actually traded. That’s the joke. Especially after he inked a five-year extension worth up to $75 million, especially after his $11.45 million base salary went into effect on the same day he pulled his quick one on the Faithful.

Maybe some Jags fans, too.

At any rate, don’t expect Kittle to give up on his jokes and fun times anytime soon. And with April Fools being an opportunity to have a little bit of good humor, Kittle is certainly embracing the chance to play around some.

Both with Niners fans and Jaguars fans, probably sparking at least a few gullible fans out there to wonder if the trade actually happened.

Again, it didn’t. It’s just a good joke. And we can certainly laugh a little bit knowing Mr. George Kittle, “The People’s Tight End,” is ensuring his fans are able to laugh a little bit, too.

Good one, George. Good one.
