2021 NFL Draft: Titans select EDGE Jayson Oweh, Penn State

The Tennessee Titans’ addition of EDGE Jadeveon Clowney turned out to be a flop last season, and the Titans’ pass-rushing efforts were notably lackluster as a result.

Getting some added help in this year’s NFL Draft class would be a wise move even though Tennessee still has some other concerns to address, particularly at wide receiver, which still isn’t solved, and along the interior of its defensive line.

As noted earlier, there are more risky edge rushers in this year’s draft, but the raw talent is certainly there.

That describes Penn State EDGE Jayson Oweh, who has the combination of size and speed to become a massive disruptor off the outside. And while his production slacked off a bit late in 2020, some added polish and consistency could provide the Titans with a much-needed presence on the defensive side of the ball.
