2021 NFL Draft: Colts select offensive tackle Teven Jenkins, Oklahoma State

The Colts’ quarterbacking needs aren’t quite as pressing as other teams’ issues, at least not after landing former Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz. But that doesn’t automatically mean Indianapolis has its situation under center figured out either.

A developmental quarterback might be a wise move later in the draft, but the biggest concern should be reinforcing that offensive line in the wake of veteran left tackle Anthony Castonzo’s retirement this offseason.

What’s needed is a plug-and-play starter to fill the gap, and Oklahoma State’s Teven Jenkins is the best available option to do this towards the latter stages of Round 1.

Jenkins primarily played on the right side for OSU, but he’s a bully of a blocker and regularly pancakes above-average pass-rushers with ease.
