SF 49ers mock NFL Draft after would-be trade for Deshaun Watson

With their fifth available pick in the draft, the SF 49ers select Donovan Stiner, safety out of Florida.
It’s kind of hard at this point to gauge who will actually be here in the draft, but Stiner is a four-year starter for Florida who would provide some safety depth in the expected departure of Jaquiski Tartt.
Stiner will probably not be able to reproduce Tartt’s contributions to the team right away, but the hope is the former will eventually get there. He is an athletic player who hits hard and doesn’t shy away from imposing his 6-foot-1 frame onto opposing players.
Stiner’s NFL Combine performance could bump him up about a round or two, but day three of the draft is awfully fluid, and the safety could easily fall into Round 6.
