No 5: SF 49ers Quarterback Steve Young, 1992

In the 1992 season, SF 49ers quarterback and future Hall of Famer Steve Young put up some monster numbers. He had 3,465 yards passing and 25 touchdowns, with only seven interceptions. Young also added 537 yards rushing and four touchdowns on the ground.

With standard Yahoo! Fantasy Football scoring, those stats would’ve given him 293 fantasy points, and put him at No. 2 overall in fantasy scoring for that season.

The SF 49ers would go on to win the NFC West that season, losing to the eventual Super Bowl-champion Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Championship Game.

Young, though, would earn a Pro Bowl selection, an All-Pro selection and win the Most Valuable Player Award in the 1992 season for his performance.
