4 teams that could hire Robert Saleh away from SF 49ers

No. 1: Detroit Lions
The other three potential landing spots for the SF 49ers defensive coordinator are all possibilities. The last one on this list, the Detroit Lions, seems almost like a likelihood.

Detroit is going to be seeking a replacement for fired head coach Matt Patricia, and a top-level defense is going to be needed against the likes of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and a still-potent Minnesota Vikings offense.
What makes the Lions a bigger possibility is the fact there’s already buzz surrounding Saleh potentially going there. SF 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman is campaigning for Saleh to land in Detroit.
And Saleh told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that his family, much of it located in nearby Dearborn, Michigan where he’s from, is pushing the defensive coordinator to accept an offer with the Lions, too, if it comes to that.
At least in terms of location and family, it would seem like the perfect fit.
The only remaining question marks would be if Detroit would offer Saleh the job, then how the SF 49ers would go about replacing him.
