The SF 49ers are looking at yet another must-win game for Week 13 on Monday Night Football against the Bills, and here’s why they win.

According to The Action Network, the SF 49ers are only slight underdogs to the “visiting” Buffalo Bills for both teams’ Week 13 matchup on Monday Night Football.

The one-point edge to the Bills essentially makes this prime-time contest a pick-em bout. While the Niners enter the contest with a 5-6 record and seem to be doing little more than desperately fighting for their proverbial playoff lives, an 8-3 Bills squad doesn’t exactly match up well with what head coach Kyle Shanahan has in store.

Perhaps most importantly, San Francisco is getting into a rhythm after getting a good chunk of players back from previous injuries, which marred its three-game losing streak before pulling off a shocking and much-needed victory over the LA Rams in Week 12.

So, are there reasons to believe the SF 49ers go on a hot streak to close out the regular season?

In short, yes. The Niners do have a very real chance to upset Buffalo in prime time. San Francisco statistically has the ability to match the Bills’ best strengths, while there are Buffalo weaknesses the 49ers can exploit, too.

More importantly, the Niners are far more desperate a team. Amid a tough NFC West where San Francisco is in last place but only a game behind the seventh-seeded Arizona Cardinals, each game from here on out winds up being the most important for the SF 49ers.

Here are three more specific reasons why the Niners come away with the win on Monday night.
