Reason No. 2: New York Jets injuries

The Jets have some injuries on their offense that might be a problem.

Just one week into the regular season, New York is already dealing with some notable injuries. The team already lost wide receiver Denzel Mims and running back Le’Veon Bell to injured reserve. New York Jets running back Levon Bell and wide receiver Denzel Mims were both placed on injured reserve.

As such, the Jets will now have to start 37-year-old running back Frank Gore and go with their limited wide receiver corps, which features wideout Jamison Crowder as essentially the only legitimate option through the air.

While it’ll be great for SF 49ers fans to see Gore in action live against his old team, the overall prowess of New York’s offense isn’t exactly one with which the Niners should be majorly concerned.
