No. 3: Another star from the CFL has opted out, and the SF 49ers might want to give Wynton McManis a shout.

I admittedly may be biased here, but the Calgary Stampeders seem to always have the best linebackers in the CFL. They’ve proven it with the Philadelphia Eagles’ Alex Singleton, newly signed Miami Dolphin Nate Holley, and now Wynton McManis.

SF 49ers fans, start sending good vibes to the front office because Wynton McManis is a guy you want on your team. He’s a hard tackler and runs over anyone with and without the football. He’s a vocal leader and just loves the game of football.

He’s also a Grey Cup champion and made a huge tackle in Canada’s November classic against Ottawa which turned the tide in the game.

The Stampeders put together some of his highlights from 2019, and let’s just allow the video to do the talking.

With the Stamps, McManis had 104 tackles and four sacks. This kid is just a beast. Putting him on the field with the current 49ers defense would instantly make them Super Bowl contenders.
