MLB Fred Warner

OLB Kwon Alexander

OLB Dre Greenlaw

LB Azeez Al-Shaair

LB Mark Nzeocha

Not much looks to change at this position than it was at the end of 2019, where all members of the linebacking corps listed here were on the team.

The starters are entrenched, although there will be intrigue in terms of who stays on the field next to Fred Warner in non-base defense situations, be it Kwon Alexander or Dre Greenlaw, who finished last season filling in for Alexander after the former Buccaneer tore his pectoral on Halloween.

Beyond that, it’s mostly depth and special teams, something both Azeez Al-Shaair and Mark Nzeocha did well when called upon last year.

But the team does have Joe Walker who could fight those last two for a roster spot, and players like Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles and rookie Jonas Griffith are likely headed for the practice squad.

Don’t expect much change here, because the unit was up and coming near the end of last year and should continue on that trajectory into this year.
