San Francisco 49ers: 5 toughest quarterbacks Niners will face in 2020

49ers Opponent No. 5: Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
It’s been a while since both the Niners and Dallas Cowboys have been good at the same time, and there could be a lot on the line when both teams square off against each other in Week 15 when the NFC playoff picture is becoming much clearer.
In more than one way, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has a lot to play for this season, too.
Prescott was hit with the franchise tag this offseason, surprising more than a few who thought Dallas would be wise to offer him an extension before his contract value started to go through the roof. On one hand, Prescott is playing for that hopeful new deal with the Cowboys in 2021 and beyond.
On the other, he’s more than willing to impress another suitor.
Prescott owns a perfect 2-0 record against San Francisco with a career-123.4 passer rating in both contests. Granted, those numbers came when the Niners weren’t particularly good. Yet Prescott coming off a 2019 campaign in which he tossed for nearly 5,000 yards with 30 touchdowns against 11 interceptions means the 49ers’ Week 15 bout on the road won’t exactly be easy.
Especially considering how much could potentially be on the line.
