49ers Tight ends

Making the team: George Kittle, Ross Dwelley, Charlie Woerner
Missing the cut: Chase Farrell, Daniel Helm

Analysis

This seems like a very easy one on the surface and would need a bit of a surprise for there to be any deviation from this.

The 49ers carried four tight ends going into the Super Bowl, but the addition of the versatile Jalen Hurd in the receivers category should give the 49ers the luxury to go with three here.

George Kittle, of course, heads this positional group as the best player on the 49ers. With his upcoming extension, it’ll be his for a while.

Ross Dwelley will be the backup, and has the experience to be decent at the role while Charlie Woerner develops.

As for Woerner, he will be the blocking tight end as the 49ers hope to develop him up similar to Kittle when he was drafted to the 49ers.

Chase Farrell and Daniel Helm will be on the outside looking in, but they could compete if an injury occurs.
