Which members of the 49ers will get their first Pro Bowl selection in 2020?

The San Francisco 49ers have a lot of young talent on their roster. But in 2019, the team only had four Pro Bowl selections. Four seems like a very low number for a team that dominated the NFC on its way to the Super Bowl.

Consider the fact the Baltimore Ravens, who didn’t make it out of the second round of the playoffs, sent 13 players from their roster to the Pro Bowl. The reason for the lower number of Pro Bowl selections might be due to the possibility the 49ers didn’t have many household names on the roster.

Many of the excellent starters on the team were younger players, and 2019 was really a breakout season for many of them. The fans of the Niners were very much aware of these great players all season, but the NFL community at large finally got to see them perform on prime time and on the grandest of stages, at the Super Bowl.

Although the 49ers didn’t complete the ultimate goal of the season, which is hoisting the Lombardi Trophy, their young players gave fans a lot to be hopeful for in these upcoming seasons.

After the third season under this current regime of head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch, we have identified who the current stars are. Who though, are some of these young breakout talents?

And who of this group could possibly make the jump from starter to Pro Bowler in 2020? Let’s take a look at five players who are poised to have huge seasons in 2020, and could potentially be Pro Bowl selections.
