49ers: 3 wide receivers who stand to benefit from Deebo Samuel injury

No. 3: 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne
Despite not having started any of the 19 games in which he played last season, Kendrick Bourne racked up 446 yards on 54 targets, good for six touchdowns and 28 first downs. More often than not, Bourne delivered when it mattered the most either in the end zone or on third downs.
The third-year wide receiver has not been shy in the offseason regarding his bold goals for this coming season. Last week he posted them on his Instagram, and the 49ers added a bit of flair to his intentions:
The first one, “Be a starter,” seems like destiny. Of course, it still needs to be seen how Deebo Samuel’s injury will cooperate between now and Week 1 of the regular season, but one thing is sure: Bourne will be ready to establish his identity as a No. 1 wideout.
