San Francisco 49ers: Ranking best jerseys and uniforms in team history

No. 1: The 49ers’ Dynasty Years Uniform (1964 – 1993)
Ah, yes. The classic Niners uniform.
This pattern essentially remained mostly unchanged for almost 30 years, carrying the Niners through some dark times and into the glory years of the 1980s.
It’s a classic look, one off which San Francisco’s current uniform is based.
There’s the bright red all Faithful fans know, paired with plain white numbers on home jerseys and the stripes on the sleeves. Gold pants with the stripes. It’s simple. It’s classic. And those uniforms essentially define all things San Francisco.
When fans think of the 49ers dynasty years, they think of this uniform. It’s that simple.
And if you go on to win four Super Bowls wearing that uniform, it has to be No. 1 on the list.
