Team needs

The Philadelphia Eagles needed a lot of receiving help to help them stay ahead of the Cowboys, as well as upgrading any other position as needed.

2020 NFL Draft class

  • No. 21: Jalen Reagor, Wide Receiver, TCU
  • No. 53: Jalen Hurts, Quarterback, Oklahoma
  • No. 103: Davion Taylor, Linebacker, Colorado
  • No. 127: K’Von Wallace, Safety, Clemson
  • No. 145: Jack Driscoll, Offensive Tackle, Auburn
  • No. 168: John Hightower, Wide Receiver, Boise State
  • No. 196: Shaun Bradley, Linebacker, Temple
  • No. 200: Quez Watkins, Wide Receiver, Southern Miss
  • No. 201: Prince Tega Wanogho, Offensive Tackle, Auburn
  • No. 233: Casey Toohill, EDGE/Linebacker, Stanford

Draft review

This can’t be viewed very well. I like Jalen Reagor as a talented deep threat, but Jalen Hurts in the second round just makes little sense even if they try to convert him to running back. The rest of the draft class are just projects who won’t contribute next season very much.

It’s unfortunate, but the Eagles may have slipped behind the Cowboys as the divisional favorite. They at the very least however set themselves up with a decent class for the future, save the Hurts pick.
