The New York Giants needed to find blocking for their young quarterback Daniel Jones, who has fumbling issues. They also needed to find upgrades for their secondary as they had one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL.

Draft review
This was a really good NFL Daft, where the team found a lot of steals while filling positions of need in the first half of their draft. In the second half of the draft, the Giants found a lot of intriguing developmental prospects for the defense.
The Giants found three new blockers in Andrew Thomas, Matt Peart and Shane Lemieux. All of them were good value and can start right away or in the near future. Xavier McKinney was a blatant steal who should have gone in the top 20 picks, while Darnay Holmes was good value too.
The Giants found multiple upgrades at a great value, worthy of an A-minus.
