Draft review
The Dolphins did very well to not only draft the guy they coveted for a long time in Tua Tagovailoa, but also provide him with blocking, too. Austin Jackson, the versatile Robert Hunt and draft steal Solomon Kindley can form the crux of a strong offensive line. Malcolm Perry is an intriguing gadget weapon worth the late-round investment.
There were some strong defensive picks, too, with Raekwon Davis and Jason Strowbridge both solid pieces for the Dolphins defense.
I didn’t like all the picks. Noah Igbinoghene was a reach as a raw corner, and Brandon Jones was a hideously big reach, but it doesn’t matter so much as this is a long rebuilding effort.
Overall it was a good start to the new era.
