2020 NFL Draft: Grading the draft class from all 32 teams
Team needs
A quarterback to replace Phillip Rivers, a left tackle to replace Russell Okung and a running back to replace Melvin Gordon.
Otherwise, the Chargers enjoy a pretty deep roster.

Draft review
I actually like this NFL Draft class, and the Chargers got some decent picks around Justin Herbert, but I really don’t like the Kenneth Murray selection.
While the pick gives the Chargers another young and talented linebacker, I cannot fathom why they would trade up to grab him instead of staying put grabbing a tackle like Josh Jones.
Murray is fine as a prospect, but this was a puzzling decision that didn’t help the Chargers.
On the plus side, I like the other weapons around Herbert. K.J. Hill was a massive steal this late, he should have gone closer to No. 120 instead of No. 220.
I hate the decision to trade for Murray and the grade reflects that, but I did like the class otherwise.
