Team needs

The Colts have a loaded roster and are going all-in with quarterback Phillip Rivers. The Colts needed to provide him with as much help as possible.

2020 NFL Draft class

  • No. 41: Jonathan Taylor, Running Back, Wisconsin
  • No. 85: Julian Blackmon, Cornerback, Utah
  • No. 122: Jacob Eason, Quarterback, Washington
  • No. 149: Danny Pinter, Guard, Ball State
  • No. 193: Robert Windsor, Defensive Tackle, Penn State
  • No. 211: Isaiah Rodgers, Cornerback, Massachusetts

  • No. 213: Jordan Glasgow, Linebacker, Michigan

Draft review

I really like the first few picks for the Colts in Michael Pittman and Jonathan Taylor. Both should factor in the offense and help them in 2020.

However, I’m not sure if the rest of the class helps them win now, which is what they need to do in a crowded division. I am intrigued by the Jacob Eason pick, though, as he gets to learn behind Rivers.

All in all, I thought they helped their chances at the Super Bowl, but not as much as I hoped.
