Team needs

Houston Texans head coach Bill O’Brien is a running gag for me in the NFL, but the team itself is pretty talented. The team could afford to go best player available while finding a running back for when David Johnson inevitably breaks down.

2020 NFL Draft class

  • No. 40: Ross Blacklock, Defensive Tackle, TCU
  • No. 90: Jonathan Greenard, EDGE, Florida
  • No. 126: Charlie Heck, Offensive Tackle, UNC
  • No. 141: John Reid, Cornerback, Penn State
  • No. 171: Isaiah Coulter, Wide Receiver, Rhode Island

Draft reviews

Well, thanks a lot, O’Brien, how am I supposed to make fun of you for this?

Its a pretty good draft haul, and their defensive front will be massively upgraded thanks to Ross Blacklock and Jonathan Greenard.

Charlie Heck is a solid run-blocker who could start at right tackle down the line, while John Reid and Isaiah Coulter are projects. Coulter especially has some raw potential.

I’m not sure what it’ll do for their team and their chances of getting to the Super Bowl, but the drafting was fine.
