Joe Burrow. 1. player. 817. . Quarterback. Tigers

Let’s not overthink this. The Cincinnati Bengals are going to take LSU quarterback Joe Burrow all day. It’s not a secret and it’s never been a secret.

Burrow went from a prospect nobody had as the top quarterback to the No. 1 pick off the back of a huge season for LSU. He threw for 5,671 yards at a 76.3 percent completion rate, 60 touchdowns and six interceptions while leading the Tigers to the NCAA national title.

Burrow is a smart player who can make any throw in the NFL and also takes care of the football.  He doesn’t have a bullet for an arm, but he does have the functional arm strength. His intangibles otherwise are brilliant, especially with the mental aspect of the game, and I believe if he had a stronger arm he could have been the best quarterback prospect since former Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck.

The Bengals are looking to the future and Burrow is the new face of that future. While Burrow is not the best player in the NFL Draft, he does play at the most important position.

This should be an easy selection for the Bengals when they open draft night.
