The Dolphins got their franchise QB in the NFL Draft earlier, and now they need to surround him with talent. Houston’s Josh Jones is a talented blocker who I think has been vastly underrated leading into the draft.

Jones isn’t on the level of the top four tackles in the class, but he’s a very solid protector. He’s a touch raw and isn’t as far along as you would like from a player who’s got the college experience he has, but he’s still got room to grow.

Whether or not Jones can be a left tackle is debatable, but he at least will be a solid right tackle in the pros. He’s athletic, tough and gets onto his assignments pretty well.

He needs to work on his game, especially his consistency in maintaining his stance, but he’s got the talent to succeed.
