K'Lavon Chaisson. 17. player. 817. . EDGE. Tigers

Yes, the Dallas Cowboys signed former Niners and Raiders pass-rusher Aldon Smith, but they need more at EDGE than an aging player who was out of the league for years.

LSU EDGE K’Lavon Chaisson has flown up draft boards and looks likely to be a mid-first rounder with his potential. Dallas need a young presence at EDGE, and Chaisson would be a perfect fit here.

What really sets Chaisson apart is how his physical gifts make him a natural pass-rusher. His arms and feet combine to give him amazing speed and leverage, and his pass-rushing moves get him to the quarterback as shown by his 6.5 sacks and 13.5 tackles for loss.

He’s not just a “get to the quarterback” guy either. He can cover tight ends too, which is huge for any defense.
