Gators . C.J. Henderson. 15. player. 840. . Cornerback

Veteran cornerback Chris Harris defected to the Chargers, so a replacement is needed. If Florida’s C.J Henderson gets through to the Denver Broncos, they would have a ready replacement.

Henderson is a prospect who should go in the top 20 and there’s a possibility that he could go in the top 10. He has strong intangibles and is the consensus No. 2 cornerback prospect.

Henderson is very strong, athletically. His feet and hips are fluid and he can go stride for stride with most receivers.

Henderson can fit into any NFL defense and has the ability to be a No. 1 cornerback in it. He has functional speed, but where he really excels is his instincts for the game.

He’s a cerebral player, who can make plays when needed but also be a functional cornerback for the other plays. He’s a safe pick for any team looking to upgrade its secondary immediately.
