UCLA’s Devin Asiasi‘s body of work was accomplished in one good season of productivity, so his limited sample size may be hindering his draft position. However, he runs routes well, has a good catch radius, solid hands and is willing to block when needed.
Strength and catching contested passes are areas where he may need some work, but Asiasi’s upside and current skillset could potentially complement All-Pro tight end George Kittle well and provide quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo yet another weapon to work with.
With the 2020 NFL Draft less than a week away, the anticipation is at a fever pitch. Rumors and mock drafts are everywhere. Having built a contender brick-by-brick over the past few seasons, culminating in a Super Bowl appearance this past February, John Lynch has the team on the cusp of a sixth Lombardi trophy.
Perhaps this draft provides the missing pieces to finally make that dream a reality.
