San Francisco 49ers: 7-round trade-heavy mock for 2020 NFL Draft

Yet the Niners have been exploring additional tight end options this offseason, both in free agency and the pre-NFL Draft process.
Behind Kittle, San Francisco has backup tight ends Ross Dwelley and Daniel Helm. Neither of those latter two are exceptional blockers, and the 49ers losing veteran TE Levine Toilolo puts a dent in the offense’s blocking efforts from this spot.
Georgia tight end Charlie Woerner isn’t going to be a major pass-catching threat, probably coming nowhere close to Dwelley as a No. 2 option.
But Woerner is a good enough blocker to challenge Helm for the third spot on the depth chart, coming in as an extra lineman in jumbo and two-tight end sets when needed.
The 2020 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 23. And Niner Noise will be your place to go for all things San Francisco in the draft.
