The Miami Dolphins stockpiled picks through a number of key trades last year, and they’re in position to find some key cornerstones in what looks to be a promising new era under second-year head coach Brian Flores.
Quarterbacks are always a great way to go when it comes to finding those cornerstones, and Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa is one fans in Miami can get excited about right away.
Yes, Tagovailoa comes with some injury concerns. But he has all the tools to be the featured piece, at least developing for a season behind the veteran, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and potentially taking over starting duties as early as training camp.
Even if that doesn’t happen right away, Tagovailoa is heading to an up-and-coming team amid an AFC East that has gone through some notable changes during the offseason.
