2020 NFL Draft: 32-pick Round 1 mock with 49ers selecting twice
By Peter Panacy
Like the Saints and 49ers, the Baltimore Ravens don’t exactly have a ton of holes to fill on either side of the ball this offseason.
And those that do exist are relatively minimal, which is a great position to be in.
Still, it would be smart for Baltimore to find a quality inside linebacker to bolster the front seven, and one of the nice fits here is Wisconsin’s Zack Baun.
Baun projects to be one of those weak-side, playmaking linebackers who excels when he’s allowed to play in space. Few linebackers can match what he does in tight end coverage, too, and teams shouldn’t overlook Baun’s abilities to provide some pass-rushing help in blitz packages. He’s a threat in that area as well.
The Ravens need to think about finding a replacement for now-retired offensive guard Marshal Yanda, but that’s something which can be addressed in subsequent rounds.
