2020 NFL Draft: 32-pick Round 1 mock with 49ers selecting twice
By Peter Panacy
At least the Minnesota Vikings made the best out of a bad situation, wide receiver Stefon Diggs no longer wanting to be in Minnesota, by trading him off to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for this first-round NFL Draft pick.
After extending quarterback Kirk Cousins this offseason, the next priority for the Vikings is to add some additional pass-catching help so that fellow wide receiver Adam Thielen won’t be asked to do everything.
And, so what do you know? Here’s another run on wide receivers.
Now, there are some other pressing needs for Minnesota, including cornerback and along the defensive line. But TCU wide receiver Jalen Reagor, whose relatively pedestrian 40-yard time at the NFL Combine isn’t indicative of his game speed, has more than enough capability to stretch the field — elements Cousins will surely need to find some big-time success.
