While COVID-19 has caused plenty of pain, San Francisco 49ers fans can get creative with some unique activities while on home quarantines and lockdowns. Here are 10 things you can do to stay busy.

It’s not easy being a San Francisco 49ers fan right now. Especially with zero sports going on and most of the country on lockdown due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The last memory Niners fans have of their team is what happened in Super Bowl LIV, and those thoughts are going to last as long necessary until the upcoming season kicks off.

And let’s hope that takes place on schedule, as any live sporting event can’t come soon enough.

Regardless of the seriousness of the times, there are things fans can do to keep themselves occupied during quarantines. For starters, just imagine five San Francisco players and coaches you’d enjoy being quarantined with. That’s a start.

But if you’re like a lot of us, you’ll want your creativity to go a bit further. You’ll want to find other ways to pass the time.

Fortunately, the 49ers give you plenty of options how to do that.

So, while it doesn’t look like any of us will be able to safely go out anytime soon, we can at least keep ourselves busy with these 10 fun Niners-related things to do while quarantined.

No. 10: Create Your Own Madden League

If you’re a gamer, there’s a good chance you’re doing just fine during lockdowns.

With so much excess time on our hands and not being able to regularly leave the house, it’s never a bad idea to call up some of your fanatic football friends to start your own online EA Sports Madden leagues.

Franchise mode is great, by the way. Everyone selects and builds his or her own team, grabbing as many Niners players as possible, then kicks off the season as per normal. Make it a regular screen-share event, too, so your friends can watch you battle it out with your rivals.

Granted, it’s virtual football. But at least you have a say in what happens.

And if you’re good, you could be bragging about your own 49ers team winning the Super Bowl.
