No. 1: George Kittle will catch over 100 passes

What makes George Kittle so lethal as a receiving option is his ability to catch passes without dropping too many of them.

As a safety valve and a preferred target both, he sees a lot of passes thrown his way and he’s usually a sure bet when he can get his hands on the ball.

His receptions have increased every year, recording 43, 88 and 93 receptions in his three seasons, and his last two seasons alone have seen him been targeted 256 times by an array of quarterbacks in that timeframe.

The 49ers played three playoff games in 2019, but Kittle missed two regular-season games due to injury earlier in the season, so Kittle had those 93 receptions based off 17 games. We can’t guess how far into playoffs the Niners will go if they do make it, but we can use it as a guide on how many passes he catches.

Kittle is still only going to get better as he enters his prime, so seeing him get to 100 receptions is the next logical target for him to break.
