No. 3: Draft a wide receiver

If the meetings between San Francisco and several high-profile receiver prospects are any indication, the team is looking to the draft to add to their wide receiver corps.

The 49ers have now found themselves in the thick of the wide receiver sweepstakes. Alabama duo Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs, as well as Oklahoma receiver CeeDee Lamb, are all excellent prospects who would easily fit in with the 49ers offense.

Exactly who the best receiver is maybe a matter of opinion. Jeudy has been the top prospect for most of the season, but Lamb has rocketed up draft boards and could perhaps be chosen first. Meanwhile, Ruggs possesses incredible speed which could very well be similar to what the Kansas City Chiefs have in their offense in Tyreek Hill.

In theory, should they all be available when the Niners pick, it would be a personal choice whom to take.

Of course, it’s a matter of who gets to the 49ers that decides who they get to choose from regardless. But the team should be happy to get any of them onto the roster.
