No. 4: Indianapolis Colts

Unlike the Bengals, the Indianapolis Colts have a worthwhile stockpile of picks in this year’s NFL Draft, including two in Round 2, two in Round 6 and their own in each of the other rounds.

There’s a good deal of rumors swirling around the future of Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett this offseason, and it wouldn’t be a total shocker to see Indianapolis use it’s first draft pick, No. 13 overall, on a quarterback to eventually replace him.

Brissett is, after all, entering a contract year in 2020.

While the Colts don’t have anywhere near the offseason needs Cincinnati has, there is some significant room for improvement. Veteran wide receiver T.Y. Hilton is getting up there in age, and the Colts could be looking for a complementary pass catcher anyway. Indianapolis’ secondary isn’t quite where it needs to be, and the need for additional pass-rushers is also a good way to go.

The 2020 draft class is deep at wide receiver and cornerback, not so much in the pass-rush department.

Yet Indy owns the No. 34 overall pick in the draft from the Washington Redskins, and the Colts could also be looking to jump over teams like the Bengals or Chiefs if there’s a sense either one of those squads is looking at a player the Colts want.

And Indianapolis has plenty of mid-round selections to make it happen.
