No. 4: Dee Ford will make an impact against his old team

Nobody will be having a more interesting Super Bowl than EDGE Dee Ford, who only a year ago was the most hated guy in Kansas City for being offside on a play that would have sent the Chiefs to the Super Bowl.

It ended up being Ford’s last game as a Chief, as he was traded to San Francisco after the season ended and has been a very good (albeit also hurt) pickup for the 49ers.

One player who has been particularly vocal has been Chiefs EDGE Frank Clark, who effectively replaced Ford on the Kansas City defense. Clark has been trying to rile San Francisco up by criticizing Ford for that penalty and in general trying to be vocal like Sherman.

Must be a trait from being a former Seattle Seahawks player.

Ford for his part has refused to be drawn into the debate and has declared that his play will do the talking as a response to Clark. It’s hard to see him not taking this as extra motivation and putting in a big performance to prove he’s better than Clark and that the Chiefs have the wrong man.
