No. 2: Binjimen Victor, Wide Receiver, Ohio State

While mostly a game for the running backs, one wide receiver that did manage to pop up was Ohio State Buckeyes big play threat Binjimen Victor with two catches for 50 yards and a touchdown in the Shrine Bowl.

Victor also had an impressive week of practices to help his status. He showed separation and quickness, which was quite important for his 6-foot-4, 199-pound size. He was also running routes cleanly.

Victor was decent without being impressive at Ohio State. He does have some intrigue as a potential redzone weapon, however. While he had only 83 catches with the Buckeyes, 18 of them went for touchdowns.

Victor needs to show he can play special teams to truly ensure he gets drafted, but for now, it looks like he will be picked sometime late.

The 49ers won’t give up on Dante Pettis that quickly, but it’s clear that he has a way to go to get out of the doghouse of Kyle Shanahan. However, there are receiver spots to be won in camp, with Marquise Goodwin looking like he’s on the decline.

The 49ers could very well look for another offensive weapon for their roster late in the draft.

Having averaged upwards of 16.0 yards per reception in three of his four collegiate seasons, Victor could be a weapon that Shanahan covets.
