No. 4: The 49ers defense will have one fumble recovery and one interception

Aside from Kwon Alexander, the 49ers will welcome back EDGE Dee Ford and safety Jaquiski Tartt to the defense, which will make it full strength for the first time in seemingly forever.

There has been some question as to whether or not Ford will play, but he’s been listed as questionable instead of doubtful on the injury report. That’s usually an indicator that someone will be active on game day.

With a healthy defense, the 49ers can go back to locking down quarterbacks like they were in the opening half of the season.

With the weapons to rattle Kirk Cousins and his targets back on the field, the 49ers should be able to force some turnovers.

I’m looking for the 49ers to not only force a fumble, but pick off Cousins, as well. One is inclined to believe that former Super Bowl champion Richard Sherman has been waiting for the chance to produce another big play in the playoffs.

I expect the defense to show up on Saturday, and have a few takeaways to show for it.
