No. 2: Kwon Alexander will get a sack

Get ready to roll out the red (and gold) carpet, because linebacker Kwon Alexander is back and he’s itching to go.

What Alexander brings to the San Francisco front seven is a real shot of electricity, which is badly needed given how the 49ers have needed a shot in the arm after recent injuries slowed them on defense.

Still, it remains to be seen how much Alexander will play. Ideally, it’d be every snap possible, but he may need to be eased in.

Still, Alexander will bring the thunder on any play he’s in. He knows no other way.

The 49ers don’t blitz very often, but they do on occasion. One favorite tactic of defensive coordinator Robert Saleh is to send an extra body up the middle.

Alexander has some talent blitzing up the middle, and I think he will make a big splash on his return.

It would not shock me to see Alexander bring down Minnesota quarterback Kirk Cousins.
