No. 4: Arik Armstead

When it comes to which 49ers player broke out the most in 2019, few could go past defensive lineman Arik Armstead. Perhaps he was just a late bloomer, but it was surprising to see how well Armstead played in the stacked defensive line.

Armstead lead the 49ers with 10 sacks for the year and also had 11 tackles for loss. He had 18 quarterback hits and had two forced fumbles for the season.

Armstead slowed down slightly late in the year, but he should still be a force in the playoffs with Dee Ford returning, DeForest Buckner beside him and the next person on the list on the line, too.
